Gotta Catch Them All: Pokémon Party

I am not sure if anyone else grew up watching Pokémon Indigo League, but I can assure you that I did. It was one of my favorite shows as a kid, and I have definitely rewatched it a couple of times in the past few years. It is my favorite Pokémon series, and I consider it a true classic! Even though Pokémon has long since gone through the Indigo League, it is awesome to see that the Pokémon legacy still lives on with new generations and so forth!

That being said, let’s get on with today’s post and through one heck of a Pokémon party. This is a great theme for a birthday or even just a Pokémon party for those big super fans. Either way, Party Place has a fantastic selection of plates, balloons, cups, decorations, and napkins. If you want a surefire way to throw a Pokémon party, this is the way to do it. Let’s look at a few of my favorite table setups and ideas for this party.

You can find all the Pokémon decorations and table supplies here.

This is such a great party table setup that features all the main bits of Indigo League! Show this picture to a Party Place worker to help assist you in finding all the perfect pieces and balloons to create this awesome set!

Everyone knows the trading cards from Pokémon. After all, when playing your own version of Pokémon these are the most important components for attacking, rounding up the best Pokémon, and all that good stuff.

How about buying or making your very own Pokémon card cut out for the coolest party photos?

This example from Just Add Confetti is a great one to use for inspiration.

Love it!

Finally, let’s get to the most important part: the cake.

If you are not a cake decorating person (like me) then definitely contact your local bakery, like Creative Kitchen, to make the perfect cake for you.

This one is my favorite. It gives me nostalgic vibes, and I love that.

Go and catch them all! Woohoo!

A Picnic in the Park Party

I love the park. I currently live in London, so I am blessed with some of the best park-centric cultures in the world. London might be a massive city, but trust me, the green spaces inside the city are INSANE. There are tons of little parks and gardens that are free and open to the public. However, it gets even better. The bigger parks in London like Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, Hampstead Heath, and Victoria Park really make you think that you are not even in a city! They are stunning. So, if you are ever in London, definitely put one of those on your bucket list.

Sorry, I am getting carried away. I bring up the park culture though because, in the summer, it is the best thing in London! Everyone basically picnics, chills, and has little gatherings in the park. It is such a cool thing to witness. It also happens to be my favorite thing to do in the summer.

Therefore, no matter where you are, I am going to give you some tips for throwing the best picnic party in the park. Woo!

First and foremost you need a good picnic blanket or sheet. I think a queen-size flat sheet is always a good and budget-friendly option. Most people probably have an older sheet they rarely use anymore, so why not put it to better use?

If you opt for a picnic table, then you have to go for the classic Red Gingham Plastic Tablecloth. You can purchase one here.

Now for the plates, cups, and cutlery. I think a good picnic party is casual but kind of sophisticated, you know? So Definitely look into these Elegance Tumblers, the Hard Plastic Dessert Plates, and the Silver Plastic Cutlery

Okay, let’s get to the good stuff: food and drinks.

This is the perfect opportunity to have mimosas, good white wine, or even some delicious local beer. If you don’t drink alcohol, sweet tea, lemonade, or a punch are great options.

Now for the food!

Finger food is your best friend. Think of lots of fruits, crackers, cheeses, chips, cured meats, and basically, anything else that would be on a grazing or charcuterie board. A great picnic is like a deconstructed charcuterie board in my opinion.

Don’t forget dessert! I love a good cake. So definitely do something fun and summery!

Oh, and of course, never forget the speaker to blast the tunes!

Have fun guys!

4th of July Party Supplies

The 4th of July is a holiday that just screams American summer to me. I mean this in the best way possible. When I think about the 4th of July, I think about the hot, sweltering sun, taking a dip in the water, and of course, a cookout and lots of good vibes. The fireworks are a must, and of course, we have to have lots of different variations of the flag of the United States of America for the celebration.

I enjoy how relaxed the entire day is, don’t you? Crack open a cold beer, listen to music, and soak it all in. I love that. I think any time we can take life a little slower and just enjoy it, that is the best way to be. So, no matter what your plans are this Fourth of July, I invite you to get your party supplies from the Party Place. Jazz up the cookout or lake day with all our fantastic options.

Here is the round-up of my favorite supplies and decorations we offer.

  1. Classic Flags

No Independence Day celebration is complete without a plethora of American flags! These are great to put out for decoration in nearly every setting. You can put them around the food, in flower pots, around the pool, and all the other things you can think of to use for! Not to mention they look cute in photos too.

I love tinsel. It just adds such a fun vibe to the decorations at a party. I will always use tinsel garland if given the chance.

These are totally perfect for any outdoor or indoor venue. I like these too because they also can be used for other occasions! Don’t we just love versatility?

If you want some classic Americana, patriotic type of décor, this is totally the piece for you. What screams USA more than some classic bunting? I can’t think of anything else.

That’s it, ladies and gentlemen. Get your stuff to get prepared for this 4th of July!

Pool Parties with Party Place

Summer is in FULL swing! Now that it is July, that means the heat has cracked up to the max
and school is out for another month for the kids. So, what else could be better to beat the heat
and entertain one’s self than with a pool party!

Even if you do not have a pool at your disposal at your house, we have several other options for
you to get those pool vibes going.

First off, check with your local public pool or a friend that has a pool to set up a time for you to
have a party. This can be as casual and lowkey as you want, and honestly the world is your
oyster. The only thing to consider with a public pool is that if this is an adult pool party, alcohol
is probably not allowed nor glass of any kind. Yet, let’s not let that put a damper on us! You
don’t need anything more than good vibes for a pool party, truth be told.

Now, if neither of those options strike your fancy, let’s think about how to make it a pool party
without a pool. Invest in some kiddie pools (which are pretty inexpensive!!), beach chairs, and
maybe even for extra fun some sand from your local home improvement store to really maximize
the sunny summer vibes we are going for this party.

Honestly, if it is a kid party, kiddie pools are fantastic for the little ones and provide tons of fun.
If it is more for adults, I still think a kiddie pool has a certain comical value that is 10 out of 10 in
terms of vibes. I know my friends and I would absolutely love to host something like that. Again,
just for kicks, you know?

I don’t want to tell you guys how to host the perfect pool party because the perfect pool party is
subjective! However, what I do want to suggest are lots of decorations you could use to make the
pool party, however you want to go about it, extra special and summery.

Here are links to some of my favorite decorations and party supplies for pool parties from The
Party Place:

  1. For the Pineapple Lovers
  2. Colorful Cutouts
  3. No Sand? No Problem? – Beach Table Covering
  4. Shark Attack!! – Napkins
  5. Sally Sells Seashells Plates

Have a fabulous time this summer, and be safe with all your party endeavors.
